Partnership and skills development in tourism

At the invitation of the Centre for Responsible and Sustainable Development of Tourism (CenORT), Klaus Ehrlich, coordinator of the EU Pact for Skills in Tourism, was in Belgrade. His visit was realized within the framework of the implementation of the objectives of the Pact, of which CenORT is a member.

K. Ehrlich held a lecture entitled "Partnerships and skills in tourism: composition, operational organization, management and experiences of individual countries" in the premises of the Academy of Hospitality, Tourism and Wellness. The event brought together representatives of educational institutions, tourism industry, civil and public sector - all those who have an important role in shaping the future of tourism in Serbia.

During the lecture, special emphasis was placed on the importance of developing skills in accordance with the modern needs of the market, as well as on the importance of partnerships between educational institutions, the business sector and public administration. Examples of good practice from several European countries on the formation of partnerships related to the development of skills in tourism were highlighted.

This event is part of CenORT's continuous activities to implement the values and goals of the Pact for Skills, with the aim of strengthening cooperation and capacity development in the tourism sector in Serbia.
