The Centre for Responsible and Sustainable Tourism Development (CenORT) was founded 24 years ago with the aim of promoting and improving the sustainable development of tourism in Serbia with a special focus on ecotourism and rural tourism.
CenORT's activities also include international cooperation, within which the cooperation with ECOCLUB (www.ecoclub.com), Athens, Greece, in connection with the inclusion of tourist facilities in Serbia in receiving the Ecoclub Ecolodge™ recognition, stands out. Ecoclub Ecolodge™.
This recognition is awarded based on meeting eligibility criteria and impact criteria - https://ecoclub.com/join/ecolodge which is verified by a audit process.
Obtaining the Ecoclub Ecolodge™ recognition/ecolabel is completely FREE for the first three facilities in Serbia, which CenORT will recommend to ECOCLUB in order to access the application and audit process.
The final decision on obtaining the Ecoclub Ecolodge™ recognition is made by the ECOCLUB organisation.
