Marija Bratić, PhD

Associate Professor

Marija Bratić is employed as an associate professor in the field of tourism at the Department of Geography, Faculty of Science, University of Niš, Serbia. She has authored over 40 papers, a monograph on Cultural Tourism, and a practical handbook on Hotel Management, demonstrating her deep commitment to her field and practical expertise. She actively engages in reviewing papers for domestic and international journals (SCI), showcasing her expertise and recognition within the scientific community.

She expresses her contributions through research papers and active participation in numerous domestic and international projects, solidifying her status as an active researcher. Her knowledge and experience are further validated by her role as a reviewer for the Commission for Accreditation of Study Programs in Geography and Tourism in the research areas in the Republic of Serbia. Her main research areas include cultural tourism, event management, mountain, spa, and sports tourism.

Marija's dedication to teaching and research establishes her as an authority in her field, and her active involvement in academic and research projects is highly esteemed and respected.

In addition to her involvement in various projects, Marija Bratić has also participated in organizing seminars at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Niš in the years 2012 and 2013. She was a member of the conference organized by the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Serbia, as part of the MoReSce group, titled "Mountain resort - Summit Central Europe" in June 2013. This further enriched her capabilities in the field of tourism.
