Danijel Pavlović, PhD, Associate Professor

Danijel Pavlović has more than fifteen years of academic experience in teaching, scientific research and working with students. From 2021, he holds the title of University associate professor. He received his doctorate in management in tourism on the topic "Measuring competitiveness as a basis for improving the position of a tourism destination". His main research areas include tourism management, the competitiveness of tourism destinations and the business of travel agencies and tour operators.

He is a member of SeMA - Serbian Marketing Association. He is a member of the Coordination Commissions and the Sectoral Council at the ministries and in the Agency for Qualifications of the Republic of Serbia. He is a member of the editorial board and a reviewer of several domestic and international scientific journals in the field of tourism and beyond.

He is a member of the editorial and organisational boards of several international scientific journals and conferences in the field of tourism and beyond. He participated as a consultant in several tourism development programs and as a member of a team for tourism strategic document development related to the development of tourism, professional projects and as a member of the project team in scientific projects. He also holds the position of Secretary General of the International Institute for Peace Through Tourism (IIPT) in Serbia - IMIT Serbia (IIPT Chapter Serbia). Co-author is of the book "Business of travel agencies and tour operators" (in Serbian).International Institute for Peace Trought Tourism – IIPT) u Srbiji – IMIT Srbija (IIPT Chapter Serbia). Koautor je knjige „Poslovanje turističkih agencija i organizatora putovanja“.
